Hastings, Florida | We have a large theater here located in a shopping mall. They decided to make a temporary drive-in theater by showing the film on the outside wall of the mall. Folks park in their cars facing the wall, they turn off the street lights, and they have a small drive-in. Sound is broadcast over the car radio somehow. Not many cars at one time, but at least it keeps the workers in a job, and something to do for movie-goers. Last week was my daughters birthday, so she rented a theater, invited about 25 friends, and they had the entire room to themselves as they watched the movie. Cost was only 200 bucks, but they had to buy concessions at the concession stand also. they though it was really cool, and she is in her 30's, so not a kid. |
