Does anyone else here really ENJOY fencing? 

I don't know what it is about it - maybe the fact you can look back at what you've done and take pride in "making" something that will be there for awhile, hopefully. I put up some new fences this weekend. Definitely don't need sleeping pills after a day of putting up new 5-barb wire permanent fences!

There is something of beauty about a well made double braced gate opening! Four 6 x 8 heavy posts, two 10-ft braces and lots of #9 wire. The real prize is when you go to put the gate in and the latch actually fits...  You develop an appreciation for the folks that do this for a living.

Maybe I've just been spending too much time on the computer...
