| Depends greatly on how the trailer is set up, the size of the trailer and the size of the pigs.
A 53 ft trailer that is properly set up for hauling feeder pigs (deck over the belly, 3/4 doghouse, and a deck up top) should be able to get 500 (possibly more) head of 60-70 lb pigs on.
A 53 ft trailer that has no deck and only a 1/2 doghouse is going to be full with 500 hd of 40 lb pigs.
If you're talking Iso-weans the first trailer I mentioned would be able to haul 2000+ hd, the second one would be around 1400 hd or so.
