The 7820 is a great machine for just about any task, my 7820 has been tuned, so it has more power than stock for sure. I like the ivt in the 6190 better than the power quad in the 7820. The 7820 started life on a kinze Edgevac and a Deere 1990 CCS. The 7820 hydraulics have been pushed to it's limits since I bought it. By the book the 6190 hydraulics have more flow, bit only 3 remotes on this tractor so I have never used it for any of my planters. The ivt seems to struggle a bit with heavy tillage, and extremely heavy tillage for it's size, 30ft turbo chopper or excellerator. While the tractor can pull it if I need to, it definitely cannot maintain any substantial speed. The 7820 with more cubic inches seems better in that regard for sure, the 6190 is actually tuned with software that supposedly makes it 240 engine hp. The 6190 hydraulics certainly have better response, much easier to set up quickly and able to change almost any function of the tractor on the go. The e-pto is much better on the 6190 being able to almost idle the tractor and maintain PTO speed under low load. This is a great idea for turning my 13in auger that doesn't need all the HP the tractor has. I also like this feature using my 20ft batwing mower. Can fit and finish probably better on 7820, but the layout is better on 6190. The 6190 has heated mirrors and seats, heated glass, but no active seat, and the 7820 active seat is amazing. The heated seat and mirrors do make it nice on those all night blizzard snow pushing events. I replaced a case in magnum 190 loader tractor with the 6190, and I can honestly say that case in(quicke) needs to take lessons from Deere on how to build a loader. I could twist the case loader (785) all up just loading topsoil, and I have moved huge trees and at least 10k tons of lime with the Deere and it still works like new. The ivt and deeres loader controls are perfect for large work or fine grading with a few touches of a button.
