Subject: RE: John Deere 6R reliability

Lottsburg VA
I have a 6190r, it has a loader on it, but I use it pretty much every day for something. Tractor has 3600hours on it and I depend on it to do far more than it was every intended for. I use this for my 840 kinze cart, I love how easy the PTO engages as opposed to my articulating tractor I used previously. I have contracts for dot for snow removal and tree and brush removal after storms. I have a big plow that hooks to loader as well as 2 different root and brush grapples for tree clean up. I know I had 2 problems with it, the display messed up the touchscreen and Deere replaced it free even though it was way past warranty, and one night pushing snow I had a dpf fault code. The alarm was annoying but nothing else was affected, somehow magically when I parked it all that disappeared from under the hood, a magic elf plugged in a laptop and bingo no codes for that ever again. I have all different makes of tractors from red, green, and blue, I really like my 7820 Deere, and my 8295r Deere, but I always seem to use the 6190 as my go to tractor.
