The first sentence of Your post totally refutes the last paragraph of Your post. ( 3 paragraph post )

Perhaps that also explains why you claim to not being able to understand my post in the 2nd paragraph of your post.

Perhaps if You read my post again...and THINK, then You will understand the meanings of my post are meant to be exactly how I wrote them.

Truth is, it matters notta the cost of production. What matters, is to SELL the produce consistently for significantly more than cost.
On milk: If your hard cost is 12 ( and that's where it is too..in most every type of production scheme ), gross back is 24, your net, net, net is 6.

There is no way milk works for the dairy folks selling in the traditional consolidated market scheme. Average all the highs and all the lows from 2001 thru 2009 and it's almost a net 3 cwt hard cost loss average.

That means all the producers have done is inflate asset values and over time have essentially sold em to a bank.

Not much different than a supposed low cost traditional producer with a 25 to 35% cow burn rate cashing cows thru the milk tank...supposedly fooling the same banker.

Good Luck. You need it.
