Lac qui Parle County Minnesota
Remember, it is a HUGE committment to be in dairy. I grew up dairying and did myself until I was almost 30. You will find out that there will be a lot of family functions that you either won't be able to go to or shorten the time your there. Those first years, you will have to be there all the time since margins are so close and you won't be able to afford much hired help. If your married, it will be a drastic change in lifestyle for your wife. I have an admiration for those who still milk, but when I quit, it was sure nice having a normal life. If you are set on it, start small and work up. 150 cows out of the box right away is a lot to learn.
