ahay $2,400 may be all you can get for it, but I don't think it is enough.  You will have $15/acre in mowing it, and at least $5/ton in chopping it, if you just shoot it straight into his truck, plus you shipping off a lot potash and phosphorus and any watering expenses you got in it so far.  I'd buy it if you were within a few miles of me for that.  The markets were a lot funner to ride up the last few years than they are to fall with now.
