southern MN | Do you have 2 physical drives in it, or is it all one drive divided into a C and D partition?
If it’s one drive, often they are set up with a small C partition for the Windows programs and most of your added programs should have been installed and set up to use the D partition.
Any which way, you should be able to switch to storing the photos on the D drive.
You also can download the pics yo a thumb or small brick drive and clear up room that way.
Remember, it’s really really good to have two copies if these pics are important to you, so probably copying off to two different drives would be a good idea.
Hopefully you have usb 3.0 with a new enough computer, and get usb 3.0 thumb or brick drives, the splats speed is so much faster to copy large amounts of data.
I didn’t give you step by step instructions, more of an overview I suppose?
