WY, OK | I had an extended families place that, in lieu of cash for an easement, had their half a mile or so lane paved. What a disaster that turned into after a few decades of no pavement maintenance. Looked like that but with deeper holes. Recently they finally just covered the whole thing in gravel after starting up a Pit. I've got pavement on the lane and have almost the whole thing covered in limestone now, guessing they did it in the late 80's when the built the house. Had to fill the deep ruts in with concrete waste first then 1.5" rock. Only had one cattle pot get off to one side and sink out of sight in the grass so far, luckily it wasn't the side of the lane the 18" deep water line is on. | |
