Don't push them too hard if your going to sell them at 700#. As a feedlot owner, I'll take the green cattle over the fleshy ones every time. Shoot for 2.5# per head per day and you'll do better at the sale barn. Your trying to grow frame not fatten them at that age. Maybe you can do like the other post and mix in some cheap grass hay.
