Farmington IL | The township I live in and am supervisor of is down to 6 miles of gravel road. The other 35 or so are sealed and chipped. This is fairly normal in the county I live in. In the county 1 mile west that’s nots the case. Many gravel roads! It’s trade off. Most people prefer the sealed and chipped. The last couple days the highway commissioner has been busy spreading chips on sticky roads. Doesn’t have much grading to do. | |
