Subject: Deere 2230 Field Cultivator Width

We currently have a 64' Deere 2210FH with 200lb shanks and 3 row coil tine harrow behind a Deere 9620 (not an r series, the 500HP 12.5L). If memory serves me, it weighs 56k lbs with wheel weights, rear suitcase, and additional suitcase weights on the rock box. The 64' has been too much digger for us in both the power and traction departments, so haven't been able to do the best job with it some years. We have a couple hills, but mostly level rolling prairie in SW Minnesota.

We are looking to purchase a Deere 2230FH with coil tines and hydraulic basket. We are debating between a 56' & 52'.

Have no interest in trading tractors. The tractor received a +75hp tune from Jari at Ekotuning, but we haven't used it since to know what we've really gained from that yet.

I'd appreciate some responses of people that have 2210's or 2230's.
