For most guys with brown box displays the easiest and cheapest option is just to replace the iTC with a used 3000 receiver.  The catch is you mentioned you are running SF2.  If that is the case that is a $4,000 unlock and subscription you have on the iTC.  The ability to move those to a 3000 has ended and you would have to repurchase those.  However, you can move them to a new 6000 receiver for a $700 upgrade, but then you can no longer use the brown box and will have to get a newer display as well.  You might be able to find a dealer that will move your activation to a 6000 level and allow you to "trade" that activation in on a used SF2 3000 receiver they have in inventory.
