East Central Nebraska | Yes, start calling neighbors. I'd say someone more than likely had a custom applicator. Either neighbors field didn't get sprayed due to being in wrong field or a neighbor will get charged for acres that they don't own. With today's GPS, most use maps and also what the GPS tells them for acres. Either way, if I had it hired, I'd want to know if I'm being overcharged or something not sprayed. Stop by the coffee shop, they probably have it figured out already. Now from there, good luck on figuring out your losses. Friend of mine had similar a few years ago. Coop in wrong field and killed his corn. They settled on how many bushels he averaged from his farm next to it and gave him that many bushels for him to sell in the fall. | |
