Last I heard NAVISTAR INTERNATIONAL is still the #1 truck company in North America.

And around here it is known as IH as the magnums are based off of the IH transmission and the maxxums were based off of the POS case 94 transmission.

Otherwise let's take a look at what agco has done shall we? Agco allis? Gone. Agco star? Gone. Agco power? Gone. Sunflower? On it's way out. Hesston? Also on it's way out. Challenger? On it's way out. The axial flow single rotor combines? To be discontinued by 2025. White? Gone.

Should I continue?

You have bad hearing. Navistar is not even close to being the #1 truck company in North America. I am surprised that they are not bankrupt with their very poor attempt at being EPA compliant. Not much if any linkage to the old IH line other than perhaps poor management.

Clearly the Magnum transmission originates with the IH line which ceased in 1985. Nobody is disputing that.

I have more faith in getting parts for my Agco brands what ever they happen to be.

Way to many parts are NLA on the Fiat controlled CNH side, be that New Holland or Case IH.
