You are correct, it pretty much has to be those specs to work and fit, especially when it has to match the other side as well.
I welded brackets on, grapple closes precisely now.
1/2" smaller dia cylinders, a little quicker.
A little shorter-- or longer--- off the shelf tilt cylinders, it's either gonna dump farther or roll back a touch more-- might be a good thing.
Ps. J D likes using tubes with them wire retainer dealies -- cheap and easy to make to any length.
I doubt they got a monopoly on the pieces
