Oakland, Iowa | I have seen engines mounted below the deck with the fuel tanks removed and a larger plastic tank mounted above the deck. They used a tank like the one on a standby generator.
I was thinking about a 12-volt compressor with its own tank. Our trailer already has the roll tarp plug to get power from the truck and would normally have a battery on the trailer as well. I wanted to add a solar panel to charge the batteries. One full-sized panel with about 200 to 300 watts of power should do the job. It will depend on the amount of power the air compressor needs and if it will keep up. We use some air with the Mixmate for rinsing and to empty the jugs quickly.
