Pittsburg, Kansas

From what I have read I think a lot of people would do fantastic on 100-120 grams of carbs a day, assuming they are insulin sensitive to begin with. Little or no insulin resistance.

Compare this to a Standard American Diet recommendation that is around 300 grams carbs a day. Or someone that is doing worse than a SAD diet and drinking a two liter of soda pop a day and some Twinkies and at 500 grams carbs a day.

Me being diabetic or others with insulin resistance can do a lot better at lower levels of carbs. But not everyone needs to be there. Or be there all the time at least.
