Subject: RE: Coup, others, buying wholesale chemicals

We buy some wholesale chemicals from UAP out of Missouri and the service we've had out of our sale's guy is every bit as good as what we have locally and he covers the northern half of Missouri plus part of southern Iowa. If your intersted in wholesale chemicals start simple, generic items like glysophate, atrazine, 2,4D and crop oil don't require much for service yet seem to offer some of the bigger cost savings. We've got a 270 gallon tote of crop oil and will probably go that route for glysophate for this year since freezing isn't a problem with them. This year we could have saved about a buck a gallon with a tote of glysophate instead of a returnable mini-bulk so for us we could have paid for our own pump and meter with one year's savings. We price most of our chemicals from two local dealers and UAP and buy from all three every year but the products from each dealer usually change from year to year.
