I hadn't heard of Basic H for many years--we lost a farm years ago when the owner insisted Dad use Basic H when spraying--back in the late 70's/early 80's. Poor weed control, poor yields, made us poor farmers and new farmer after a couple years. I don't know if it was supposed to kill weeds, reduce fertilizer, or what, but it didn't do it.
Not much different than those who now use Dawn in sprayers. It's a wetting agent, makes water wetter. Supposedly would also help soil absorb water faster thereby reducing pools standing in the field. |
