Dallas Center IA 515-720-2463 | Did not know about the south Harbor Freight.
Was able find it on Google Earth Street View.
But could not find the north side location near the Northern Tool store.
Maybe I should have used Al Gore’s famous invention and got the address,
Another note. In my first post under Mr Morgan I made a statement about thinking Harbor Freight was like J C Whitney.
So did some looking for J C Whitney. The company is still around and selling a lot of stuff.
Back in the 50s we sure felt J C Whitney was a el cheapo junk place.
Looking at their catalog was a lot of fun.
Also another Popular Mechanics, etc advertiser, Charles Atlas.
The 97 pound weaking that had a bully kick sand in his face and steal his girl.
Only to build up his body, punch the bully a good one, and get his girl back.
You can find those old mags online. Fun to read. I think the World War II era is the best reading.
