Denhoff,ND right in the center of the State | Thats the way they did it years ago, from what my dad told me, we always banded the tails and balls on ours and they would go lay down and kick and were in pain. I think they bite them off to kinda krimp the cord and keep it from bleeding so bad rather than just cuting the cord. We dont raise sheep anymore too many coyotes and wolves here, havent had sheep for 25years or more. My kids would like to get some but I know how much work they are. I'll give them each another cow.
