Subject: RE: You didn't ask about Snap On, however

Somerville, Indiana
I keep six point sockets in 6 pt. 1/2, 9/16, 3/4, 15/16, 1 1/8 sizes by Snap on because they grip old rusted-worn bolts better...They are flank drive instead of corner drive..

Have had cheap ratchets shear a tooth and skip on a hard pull, so with old sore shoulders have decided to buy expensive long handled ratchets...So far they have lasted more years than I like to admit..

Same sizes in combination wrenches, long handled polished, grip old bolts better grip and easier on old hands...They cost too much, however for what they are for and how long they last, all is good long as I don't lose em..

The light weight light duty Harbor floor jack has lasted a good 8 years and still going strong although it has ben abused overloaded left out too often...Same with their air powered die grinder and it's cutting tools...Mostly light occasional service here..

Have ordered a few tools from Northern, they have different levels of cheap on toward good quality, just pay attention to the costs...Tools that don't cost enough compared to other sources usually aren't going to share in many of our tomorrows..
