NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | Funny you mentioned trading Chuck, I told my wife when it quit working that we better trade trucks. We did do a little looking but man new ones are expensive with no incentives to trade now. The sticker price on the 2011 when we ordered it new was roughly $44,000. Now a Lariet is in the ballpark of $65,000 an almost 50% increase. The new trucks have more bells and whistles but still crazy what they cost. I absolutely hate buying different vehicles which is why I don’t trade very often.
On a side note I graduated from HS in 1973, the week after I got out of school I bought a brand new 1973 Chevy Nova for $3,250 tax and license included, paid cash for it. Oh the good ole days :-). | |
