Central Illinois | Funny you mention the '04. The radio in my '04 works fine but the truck is possessed. The dome light comes on whenever it feels like it. It goes off again in a matter of seconds up to a minute. You don't even have to be in it when that happens. It will do that sitting, not running and the doors locked. But, the real head scratcher is the beeping while driving. No dummy lights come on but the truck will have an audible alarm from under the dash that is a series of 5 beeps that occur 5 times consecutively. Sometimes the beeping was consistent with the length of the drive from home to the high school. This has gone on for years. Ford can't tell me what it is, no mechanic I've had it to can tell me either. Only 245k miles. I hate to get rid of it. | |
