When I did insure bulls they were listed individually on the policy by their registered names and were insured for the amount I paid for them, subject to any deductible. Come to think of it, now that I have a $5K deductible on my policy they probably wouldn't pay me anything on a single bull loss.

State Farm sends me an itemized list of coverage including the premium for each item on the list. I have dropped most of my building coverage except my house, the shop, and one livestock shed. I have my 9 yr old round baler insured for the purchase price when it was new. No other farm equipment insured.
