I agree giving a herd of nasty cows a nasal vaccine would be a PIA. The only time I've ever used nasel vaccines is on sick calves.

Steven, I'm not familiar with the particular Bovi-Shield product you mentioned. I have some Bovi-Shield Gold 5 in my fridge which covers IBR, BVD types 1&2, PI3, and BRSV. No lepto or vibrio in it.

I also have PregGuard Gold FP 10 which covers all of the above including vibrio and 5 way lepto.

IMO an 1 1/2" needle seems excessive for IM injection. I use 3/4" 16ga same as my vet always has.

And of course being mindful of BQA requirements all injections nowdays are in the neck. We used to give IM shots in the rump.
