Gettysburg, PA | I saw a link once to a speech Mike did about that episode. He said it that first time that they actually stopped taping cause he just couldn't air what was happening. He talked with the farmer about the fact that the Humane Society recomends the banding technique. The farmer said "fine I'll use the bands" and the sheep he did with the bands waddled away and layed down clearly in distress. Meanwhile the "teethed" sheep were spry and bouncing around no problem. Mike said that he learned a good lesson with that episode. If I can find the link I'll post it. But, it was a really good point. | |
