East River SoDak | You can tell just fine. Ours is a manual headgate w/ an automatic catch. Standing at the back of the chute makes it so much easier for the critter to want to go into the headgate because a person isn't standing right by it. We also have a brisket bar which i've become a big fan of also. We run angus and they always have a tendancy to want to go down in the chute. Not anymore. They try to go down and then pop right back up. That took the cattle a little getting used to but now they don't notice it anymore. | |
