Subject: RE: Another question

Wisconsin
I wouldn't but boss does same as couple at fair. Boss originally had 130+ dairy cow's. His knee's needed replacement and age are progressing so for his reason's decided to sell majority of the herd. He kept his very special to him cow's, temporarily dried the rest for two month's, and slowly restarted dairy again. About 57 milkers' in the herd now. The other couple wanted kid's to inherit farm well kid's went that dumb yet anyway. The kid's left and health of parent's wasn't too great. So they sold all the cow's originally and got back into it as heifer's freshened in. Now they would like to sell cow's and start again and they want their registered animal's. I question why like you also but everyone has their reason's I guess. I think the big reason is Showing them in certain instances kind of the bragging right's thing or that odd chance someone has to have that animal. I use to tease the boss all the time if she is worth X amount he better move her out so I can help him decide which new machines to buy that I can drive. They usually only leave the barn on the end of a chain or are culled so it seam's a waste to register and the cow's he sold back when didn't sell for the price of grades at that time so who know's.
