| Been using Kelly-Ryans for 25 years. The 4x12 is too small and don't like the roller bearings. The 5x12 has ball bearings. For ground hay, silage, and a little grain, they're my favorite. Light enough to get around in the mud, easy to get the feed in the bunk and through the gate easy to hook up and unhook it using one tractor. I've got an Oswalt 280, 3-auger mixer for sale. They're great for grain, but I don't have the patience to run hay through it. You can heap the Kelly Ryan, not the others. That being said, I'm thinking hard about a Knight Reel mixer, maybe a Farmaid since we have a close dealer. A 3300 Knight is in the right price range, but a little small. | |
