SEON | I recently picked up an old, neglected on land plow. It's a 7 furrow Kverneland D5 NR if that matters. I've used a 5 F IH semi mount and a 8 F Kverneland semi mount but this is my first go with an on land type. At the front of the plow there is a wheel that rides in the furrow and a 2nd wheel that rides on the land which I suppose is typical of this style. Should these tires be the same size? Should the furrow wheel be a taller tire to account for being in the furrow? It currently has a taller tire on land and I'm thinking it won't be level. Depth is controlled by one SCV that is tee'd to both tires so it's not set up for separate depth control for each wheel.
