scmn | Drum and disk use different actuators, the disk brakes run higher pressure. You would be better off getting electric and converting to hydraulic disk. Etrailer.com has axle kit for under 700 and actuator will be about the same so $2100 in parts. You don't need the hubs since hub and drum are bolted together on 12k axles. Unbolt drum and backing plate then bolt on rotor and caliper bracket.

Sad part is they are a lot better and parts are not that much more when starting new, OEM are just charging a lot for them.
There are some links to trailer parts places for axles on here that would probably beat etrailer.com prices.

If you took new brakes and backing plates off you could probably sell them on ebay
