Southern Illinois | I just got another price back with the hydraulic disc brakes which requires upgrading to the 212 model with 2 12k axles. Won't put discs on 10k axle 210. I really thought disc brakes would be the ticket and worth whatever price but having to increase models and roughly a $2800 price increase over hydraulic drum brakes I am now doubting how bad I really need them. I thought I'd just spend whatever to get my dream trailer but evidently I have a price cap.
My other thought is to get hyd drums and convert it to discs when they wear out. Or just get a Load trail or something similar and get discs up front.??????? Everyone I've talked to says discs are worth it. | |
