Does 64-35 have bad or slow emergence? I tried some this year, really had high hopes for it, but looking at it right now the emergence is terrible... Sitting next to two pioneer numbers that have a beautiful stand. Also next to one of the Pioneer numbers is DK's new 59-82 that has a beautiful stand. It was a tough spring, warm and dry early then got cold wet and cloudy but everything else came up slow and all at the same time

Anyone have experience with bad emergence with 64-35 or did I just get some poor germ corn? It's anywhere from 3 leaf to seeds that didn't even germ, or started to and never made it out. Man Im really bummed, as much good stuff I heard about 64-35 I was really pumped about it.... No one around here plants that late so I don't know much about how it does this far North

My $.02

That hybrid wasn't developed for your area and your conditions. The Short season corn that you guys normally plant has way more vigor than anything we see

Yep probably, wasn't the dealers fault either, I requested the hybrid, He hadn't even heard of it before and looked at me like I was stupid or crazy lol... I get that look a lot when people ask what corn I plant. In the end I guess I just wanna be cool like you I state guys and grow some big yields haha... The only good thing is I only planted 20 bags so we'll see how it turns out. That all being said I planted P1366 two years ago and it came up fine and was my best yielding corn
