Wisconsin | I think the large dairies that are registered are making up for the smaller herd's that are getting sold or dying out. Boss was saying at fair that a couple were going to sell their cow's and keep young stock but when buyer wasn't going to keep the cow's registered they didn't sell for fear of losing paper animal's. It's interesting from a viewing standpoint as boss has some papered some not and when visitor's come by looking at the cow's listening to them try to point base them. I remember years back we had a tour and these 4 people were going on about this animal how wonderful she was and yep you can guess she was a grade cow. | |
