East-Central Ontario | I was surprised when I went to buy a bull this year, my neighbour who's had some really good registered cattle (All-Canadian, All-American) is only registering his very best families now. He keeps all the data on the others so he CAN register them back if someone wants one registered, but he's finding it isn't worth registering them regularly unless they're really outstanding.
Even with the bulls. The only difference between registered and unregistered when buying from him is the cost of the paperwork if you want him to send in the registration. | |
