This year I had is beside (split planter) Pioneer 1442.....Dekalb 63-57 and Agrigold 6579 and they all made it look bad coming out of the ground.
It was the same thing in my test plot two years ago (2018) (rain won the test plot in 2019) ....it was the worst corn out of 20 hybrids coming out of the ground.
That said, at harvest, I started liking it much better..............it will catch up!
I just try and keep in on better-drained soil where it should have a better chance for emergence.......white ground is a death sentence. |
