ECIL | I switched five or six years ago to a gas from one of the best diesel engines put in pickups, the 7.3 Powerstroke. Switched to a 6.2L gas in a F250. You can definitely feel the power difference from the 5.4 to the 6.2. No comparison really. I didn't know what I would think when I made the switch, but I haven't regretted it yet. Maintenance cost is less, don't have to worry about fuel in the winter, one of the best things is the ability to run high blends of ethanol. I keep E30 in my gas tanks, and can get E85 if I'm by a station that carries it. Fuel mileage isn't as good, but all in all I'll most likely buy another gas next time.
