Looks like some Shorthorn in the 3 on the right atleast.

All 4 are shorthorn crosses IMO. Even the brockle face heifer on the left has the SH showing by how the white spots pattern up on her belly. They'll sell as beef calves and not dairy cross calves here and are actually a beef breed technically but don't tend to feed as well. The real "unfortunately-colored" shorthhorns are the black ones that only get a few white spots and get called holstien crosses. If they would have been born with a roan colored pattern instead they would be worth much, much more :) |
