Slicker than a Yes album.

"Here" (scmn) we usually inject (drag, preferably), wait a couple of days for it to dry, then plow. No problems with the plow plugging (10 bottom JD3710), manure guys are a LOT happier for a smooth field. Even when we have to tank, same procedure. With today's varieties, corn on corn does better with plowing.
