Everything is Shorthorn except the black, which is a half blood.

Anymore what I send to the barn is odds and ends, so it's hard to say how a good group would do. In the 90s we sold everything at the barn and got punished, but eventually the feeders came around. Having a pen of calves be fed out by a barn owner himself many years ago was what actually turned the tide.

The work the Red Angus guys have been doing in recent years seems to have helped other off colored breeds of late. I know it's damn sure helped on the bull sales side, especially when combined with what the Angus guys are doing to much of their breed.
