SW Illinois | ride smooth in field, ride terrible on the road. our quad seems to have more power loss than a wheeled machine, just a lot more moving parts.
two track machine i ran as a kid was useless in the mud. couldn't steer and spun out. on the plus side it didn't sink so it was easy to get out. Not sure if the steering issues are better on the newer ones or not. Also have to be careful with burming for two tracks.
Some jobs and areas of the country have to have tracks. The only reason i have one is to apply manure. In my area I don't know why anyone would spend the $$$ on tracks. | |
