Have had a couple of neighbors here in southern Wisconsin that have planted rye, one for feed & one did 700 acres for a cover crop. 2 times in 5 years we had to spray the neighborhood for fall army worms. When there is rye planted in our neighborhood we have to scout all our crops for fall army worms. I'm not talking a 40 or 80 in the neighborhood, it will usually happen when there is a lot planted. Is this just our part of the world or has anyone else seen this same issue.
