Southeast Washington | I run a rectangular homemade flatbed to the dimensions I like. I just move it pickup to pickup over the years and put the basically new box back on when trading. The problem with the square rear corners when backing a trailer is how fast that corner can get into the trailer. The tapered rear corner mostly eliminates that issue. My bed is 9' 3" with the standard receiver hitch underneath so does shorten the distance as does our 7' on the shortbox pickup. | |
