Subject: Hydra hume on winter wheat ground

Southeast Wyoming

One of our local coops is tied in with Helena Chemical and is recommending the use of hydra hume with the application of fertilizer.  I've searched this forum and see some support for the use of hydra hume.  Have any of you tried it on wheat and are the results worth the cost?  I have not been quoted a price - what does the stuff cost per acre or do I want to know? Cry

We have high Ca soils and the rep is saying the hydra hume will help keep the P from being tied up by the Ca.

I'm wanting to spray this on with 32% and 10-34-0.  I've not sprayed on fertilizer before.  What size screens and nozzles do I need to do a good job of application?

TIA
