A guy I know used to run one, they liked the ability to dump on the go with a semi on the right hand side of the machine, because the drivers side of the truck was next to the combine, and the trucker could better judge where the truck was in relation to the header and tractor. Also made it easier to fill the back of the semi when you don't have to worry about hitting the tractor in front of the combine.
