All the two tracks are actually equipped with automatic diff locks. All you have to do is let go of the wheel and let it return to center. Equal power is then applied to both tracks. ;-)

I know what you mean though. The hydraulic swinging drawbar is an amazing tool though steering the big Cat in areas that turning the wheel won't do. We have some areas I only steer with the hydraulic hitch and not touch the steering wheel. All locked up and turns more like an articulated tractor with it hooked to the hitch of the implement. Makes it do things that the quad track drivers say it is impossible to do for a two track but that excludes some of your mud holes. If will steer it through the mud though if the tractor is moving good.
