Subject: RE: NEIndiana

I can see why it looks bad for Pioneer they have had to push back the release of GAT, and now they want RR1 with it. But Pioneer's whole goal is to bring the most yield potential to the customer and that's why they want the GAT/RR1 combo.

Pioneer didn't plan on using RR1 with Optimum GAT, its just that when they happened to plug in the RR1 with GAT they got a yield response, they still don't know exactly for sure why that is. That's all upper class genetic stuff. Like I said earlier Pioneer has varieties with the GAT by itself ready to release but they want the combo because of a yield increase.

Pioneer is extremely frustrated that they can't get regulatory approval on GAT from the government. And yet Monsanto seems to get any approval it wants, that's why you see DuPont suing Monsanto for monopolistic practices. Why is that Monsanto has no delays but Pioneer does?
